He may only be 11-months-old, but Mason Dash is already growing up too fast for mom Kourtney Kardashian.

“I remember how quickly those first few days went by. I cried every day that it was one less day I would have with Mason [as an infant],” the first-time mama tells the December/January issue of Babytalk.

“We had lots of visitors, but I remember basically living in my pajamas. We never left the house. That month was all about Mason.”

And while outings weren’t a common occurrence during those first few weeks, according to Kardashian, neither was sleep for her and boyfriend Scott Disick!

“I nursed Mason every two hours. He loved to sleep all day and party all night,” she recalls. “It was actually a fun time, though! Scott and I would stay up watching movies and taking turns trying to rock Mason to sleep.”

Having moved past the newborn stage with her son, Kardashian is focused on the present and not on the future. “I really want to enjoy the stage he’s at now. I don’t look forward and say, ‘I can’t wait until he’s walking.’ I want to enjoy right now,” she explains.

That said, when Mason does hit any major milestones, the star of Kourtney and Kim Take New York will be ready — phone in hand!

“I forgot to write down some of Mason’s milestones. Luckily, a lot of them were caught on camera,” Kardashian says. “Now I immediately enter everything into my cell phone so I always have them, and then into the baby book.”

One memory she won’t be forgetting? “I will never forget the first time Mason smiled at me,” she recalls. “The innocence of a baby is magical.”

Now that Pink has announced her pregnancy, she and Christina Aguilera have a lot more in common than just being a couple of world-famous singers.

The two ladies “bumped into” each other on the air Friday when they were scheduled to do back-to-back interviews with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.

With Aguilera about to sign off, Seacrest asked her to say hello to Pink on the other line, who noted Aguilera – mom to a 2½-year-old boy, Max Liron – could probably offer her some “mommy advice.”

“Congratulations! I just heard the amazing news,” Aguilera said. “I’m so happy for you. Join the club.”

“I feel like I really am joining a club,” Pink replied.

Aguilera, 29, then proceeded to interview her fellow “Lady Marmalade” singer – whose doctors believe is expecting a girl – about her pregnancy. “How are you feeling? Do you have morning sickness? How’s it feeling for you?”

“No, unfortunately,” Pink said as Seacrest stayed mum in the background. “I feel like if I had morning sickness I would have lost some weight. But I’ve kept everything down.”

“It’s good,” Aguilera insisted. “You’re eating for two now – use it while you can, right?”

Aguilera later suggested that they get their kids together down the line, saying “We have to have play dates.” Pink chuckled at the suggestion, and Aguilera picked up on her hesitation – but Pink, 31, explained it wasn’t personal.

“The reason I laughed is I was with these two girls last night who used to be best friends until their kids started fighting,” Pink said. “It’s pretty funny what that does to people.”

Aguilera agreed friends can cross boundaries, saying, “Don’t discipline my kid, thanks.”

Added Pink, “What if your kid punches my kid? Then what happens?”

“Yeah, really messed up. And the moms start battling it out!” Aguilera said.

When Seacrest took over, Pink absolved Jillian Barberie Reynolds, who leaked news of her pregnancy on Twitter, telling Seacrest that actually, “It was my drummer’s big mouth … [He] beat her to it.”

Seacrest also asked her to elaborate on why she’s “terrified” of having a girl.

“I feel like I ‘get’ boys,” Pink explained. “I’ve always been a boy’s girl. Boys are easy, they just break stuff.”

As for the father of her unborn child, motocross racer Carey Hart, Pink says it was a given she’d have kids with him. “Two weeks after I met him I knew it,” she said, and so did he.

“We were at Macaroni Grill — we were going super romantic — and he was like, ‘So, you wanna have kids?’ And I was like, ‘No, I’m 22,’” she says.

But after nine years together, now they’re both ready.

PEOPLE Moms & Babies recently caught up with child-proofer to the stars Kimberlee Mitchell (left), who has also worked with Matt Damon, to get her take on the do’s and don’ts of creating a danger-free kid zone and the unique challenges of working with celebrities.

Check out what she had to say below.

What do you have to consider before babyproofing a home?

First you go in and you assess the house for all potential hazards. I literally walk room to room, opening doors, cupboards, everything, and just seeing what’s there so I can match up which product would work best in my head. You also have to consider the client’s aesthetics, especially décor of the home.

Why is education so important?

According to Safe Kids USA, the number one cause of death for children between the ages of one and four is unintentional injury, which claims more lives than disease and violence combined. Between our homes and our cars, more kids are dying on our own watch than they are to disease and violence, which is mind blowing.

What do you recommend for readers with multiple young children?

For Nadya Suleman’s home, we added two layers of protection (knob cover and top door) to keep a child out of a room. The wear and tear is something that you need to think about when you have multiples.

Why is it important to consult an expert?

Not only do we take care of obvious safety hazards, but we also find hidden ones that mom and dad may miss. Childproofing is not always straightforward and simple. It can be frustrating and challenging, which is where we come in. Overall, we help take a weight off of parents’ shoulders so they breathe easy with their new tot around.

How important is it for the parents to be involved?

Very important. Once the devices are installed, we want every parent to feel comfortable maintaining them themselves. Bethenny is a big safety advocate. I called her a safety-savvy mama. She was very involved. Eventually, she was able to go room to room and spot potential hazards.

Ultimately, childproofing devices are implemented to give mom and dad more time to get to pull their little one away from danger. We all know that kid that has a scar on their eyebrow or on their chin. It’s not just about keeping them from hurting themselves. It’s mostly a way to help you supervise them and create cordoned off area where you can keep them close to you and know where they are.

Do you use different safety devices for celebrity homes?

There’s only a limited amount of child safety devices out there on the market. And there aren’t five star, super high-end baby-proofing products out there. Whether or not it’s a celebrity home, the safety hazards and the way that we eliminate them is by and large all the same.

Do celebrity homes pose any unique challenges when it comes to baby-proofing?

Some of our celeb clientele have huge, expansive homes. The scope and difficulty of the work isn’t really different from any other home, the size of the job is just bigger. Britney’s house had some very interesting safety hazards. Her house had a big beautiful dining room, and there were breakables and beautiful décor in that room and I didn’t want to have to remove everything. So we gated off the room on both sides and showed them how to remove the gates when they entertain. They had a pool, and there was a pool fence already installed, but a portion of it that wasn’t working, so one of my staff fixed it.

How do you babyproof for celebrities with reality TV shows, like Bethenny Frankel?

Because they shoot “Bethenny Getting Married,” in the home, there’s a lot of electrical cords and lights around while they’re filming. The lights are the really big hazards because it means lots of cords and plugs. Babyproofing during a shoot is close to an impossibility. But you can put sandbags on the lighting, and then black draping over it.

Are there rooms that are especially dangerous?

Any mom’s closet is not a place for the little one to be alone. My recommendation is to bolt it and keep the baby out of there. There’s way too many items (dry cleaning bags, belt loops, hand bag straps, jewelry, etc.) that can be dangerous for a baby.

Marissa Jaret Winokur co-hosts the new CBS daytime chat show, The Talk, and is mom to 2-year-old Zev Isaac with her husband Judah Miller.

Winokur, 37, was diagnosed with cervical cancer nine years ago, had a hysterectomy and later welcomed her son with the help of a surrogate.

Though her road to motherhood had a few twists and turns, she faces the same joys — and challenges — as any working mom.

In her latest blog, Winokur dresses up to scout out a new preschool for her son — and needs your advice on going away for work.

Okay, so I left the other preschool — not just because they saw me lock Zev in the car — but really (I swear) because it was so far away from my house. I actually started stressing out thinking about if there was an earthquake and I couldn’t get to my son. I also noticed that the friends I did make there lived so far away that scheduling playdates became too hard to plan around L.A. traffic.

So I set out to find a closer preschool! Well who knew preschools were like colleges, with waiting lists and stuff?! OH MY GOD THEY ARE 2 YEARS OLD!!

Preschool Panic

The other morning, I got up an hour early and did my hair and makeup to go on a tour of a preschool. I didn’t want to make the same fashion mistake I did last time (if you don’t know what I’m talking about read my “mommy bullies” blog). I curled my hair and actually put on an outfit instead of just leggings and a sweatshirt! I wore a nice sweater, small heels and lipgloss.

When I drove up to the school, I decided to take off my heels and put on my UGG boots — the school looked big, who’s going to look at my feet anyways? I actually laughed at myself walking in like an impostor, all dressed up and made up. I saw other parents dropping their kids off and I thought, “If my son goes to this school nobody here will ever see me dress this way again.”

So I walk up to the front office basically in character. I thought, “What if I was cast as a well-put together mom who really had her act together?” I was so happy I was the first one there for the tour! It was 9:14 a.m. (it started at 9:15 a.m.) and no one else was in the waiting room. If this was a Top Model challenge, the other models were about to be disqualified! So do I win by default? Does Zev get in because he has the best put-together mom, who shows up on time and who would NEVER EVER lock her son in the car? I win, I win!

NOPE — I lose! The freakin’ tour started at 9:00 a.m.! Yup. And it’s so not my fault! My husband set up the meeting, but then couldn’t attend. So now I am the mom wearing the weird combination of too much makeup and UGG boots! I race to where the secretary tells me the tour must be and they’re already in the classroom. I find the classroom just a second before I thought I would, so as I walk in I am the mom on my BlackBerry cursing out my husband via text message.

I walk in and kind of fumble by making a bad joke about my idiot husband. No one laughs — but no one seems to care, either. As I look around, I am the only one dressed up! OMG! The other moms are so cool — wearing sweats and t-shirts and messy updo hair styles.

I want to shout, “I am one of you!” I want to scream, “I didn’t take a shower today and I wore this last night!” But sadly it wasn’t true. I’ve now turned into the people I hate! I spent lots of time getting ready so that strangers would think I was always this fancy — more time than I spent getting ready to go out for dinner with my husband and his friends over the weekend. I might as well be wearing skinny jeans and holding a latte for breakfast.

Feeling Weepy

Anyway, I walked around the preschool, which was so cute and beautiful it didn’t feel real. It felt like I was watching a movie of what a preschool should be. Soon, I became a total emotional mess.

First, we saw the classrooms for the 2-year-olds and the kids were so sweet. Then when we saw the 3-year-olds, I started feeling weepy! The kids looked so big and grown up. They seemed so much older than my little baby Zev! Oh no! Is he gonna be THIS big in one year?!

People always told me it goes by so fast and that before I know it, he will be all grown up. This was the first time I felt it. By the time we hit the 4-year-olds room, I was fighting back the tears! Seriously, I was on the verge of crying. I stayed after the tour to discuss availability. I have decided that this is where Zev needs to go! I have to wait to see if there is a class starting in January.

Then I ran home and spent the afternoon with my baby! I missed five phone calls and a billion texts — YES, one billion!! No multitasking for me — just mommying. I mommied Zev for as long and as hard as he would let me. I lied to my manager and said I was in a production meeting. I suddenly felt the same kind of separation anxiety that my son has been experiencing. I can’t imagine my baby in that 4-year-old class. They seemed so big!

Tips for Thanksgiving?

Next week I’m flying off to N.Y.C. to cover the Thanksgiving Day Parade for CBS. I’m gonna be the mom on the street, so if you’re there, say “hi” to me, and if not, watch me on CBS! I am so excited to go back to MY N.Y.C.!!

I was going to bring Zev but then thought it wasn’t fair to make him fly six hours for just three days of being there, then fly six hours home. At this age, a long plane ride has to end in Walt Disney World or it’s not worth it!

But it’s my first time leaving Zev for more than one night! I am very stressed and am so worried about my lil’ man. He is going to be so confused! Do I tell him? Or do kids not understand the time thing? Can I just say I’m “at work,” not out of the city?

My husband is taking Zev to my in-laws, so I know he will be full of candy and presents and maybe he won’t miss me at all. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. My advice: Enjoy your families and screw your diets!
